Mountain Fortresses

As part of the project to apply for mountain fortresses to be designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites, several important fortifications from different countries have joined forces to work together to preserve and gain international recognition for their exceptional historical and cultural value. Below is an overview of the participating fortresses, which represent the diversity and uniqueness of European fortress architecture.
